Hi Steve
My sister in law age 56 left South Africa for the UK six years ago.
She constantly complains that the UK is more third world than South Africa.
Go figure
Regards
Steve
Let's hope that sanity prevails - 2.5 million sounds like a very reasonable amount for a major scientific facility. BTW, back in 1966 Jodrell Bank intercepted and released the first lunar surface images from the Soviet Luna 9 probe. They used a newspaper facsimile machine supplied by one of the newspapers and got the first images out before the official Soviet version.
hard to believe the land of shakespeare, beatles, monty python ect. ect. ect. ect. will ever be truly third world? altho it seemed that way if you are poor there i guess
their tourist industry dollars alone are still the stuff to be envious of? and dont companies there still own half of australia, ie mining companies? or has china taken over that position?
