I've noticed that the latest issue of AS&T goes on sale this Wednesday.
As a new subscriber when should I expect my copy in the mail, I was under the impression that I'd probably receive it a week earlier but I haven't seen it yet or am I jumping the gun a bit

Some great articles and a fantastic pullout poster.
Congrats to all who got their images published inc, Peter Ward's brilliant eclipse image on the cover.
Also noticed there's a new Orion 102mm f/7 ED refractor available now in Australia, looks great !

Got mine...resisting the urge to open it until tomorrow. It will make good hospital reading for me and the poster will be a good room decorator for Campbell!

Have a 30 year Collection of Sky & Telescope....
.... and will be getting my 1st OZ edition SOON! They got me for $90 USD  for the 1yr/6 issues mailed (probably 4th class) to Hawaii..... still can't get enough of the gooo ol' Southern Hemisphere.....

Mine arrived yesterday, It looks like a great issue. I'll have to refrain from reading it from cover to cover in the first couple of days as it's a long time until the next issue is out.

This is interesting - I've just checked this thread for the first time: I presume we're talking about the Jan/Feb 2008 edition? Funny thing is, I picked it up in a very out-of-the-way newsagent here in Adelaide at least 3 weeks ago. Maybe they've got some special contacts!?! Some really good stuff in it though...
