Just a reminder.......the next favourable comet will be C/2007 W1 (Boattini), expected to reach mag 6 in May this year. It's currently mag 16.
It will be in Hydra/ Pyxis during May, then and should be good! Keep an eye out!
boy you sure like to get in early OBM! doesnt seem to be much else on the cards, potential ne wise, plenty of time for surprises i guess, be amazed if this current stunning rate keeps up for years tho?
Well...with todays comet hunting and gathering it's only a matter of time before the next big thing comes along.......we have had a good run of naked eye comets in the last 12 months....speaking of which....on Thursday, the 17th January, will mark the first anniversary of me seeing P1 McNaught!!!!!!.....i'll never forget it!
