The rain caused my roof to leak and a lot of the roads around my area have been cut off. I love rain but not so much rain as to flood the park!

Bad news for you guys and gals up north.

Rain is a wonderful thing but what you are going through (especially Brizzy & Gold Coast) is terrible.

Let's hope that the floods don't cause any more damage. "Calling all weather Gods . . Enough is enough!"

Ok Ok ... I admit it !
I took a travel scope with me to my trip to SE QLD over the past week.
Gee it was only a little scope
So much rain ... I've come back to the NT so it should stop now

We'd like to be able to blame you Ian but unfortunately yours wasn't a new scope I however have bought a new 50mm lense and piggyback gooseneck, and ordered a month ago a heap of new equipment (that still hasn't turned up. I think I'll change my post over in "Problems with Aussie Suppliers ) so I think I'm probably as much to blame as Tony

I went outside to get in my car to go to work this morning.. and... it was clear! Crystal clear, in fact.. not a cloud in the sky. If I'd known, I would've got up earlier and took my scope outside to do some Mars imaging/observing.

doh

I had a dream the other night that we had clear skies.

I blame Paul.

I don't think anyone down here in Victoria ordered or bought any new astro gear, so what's the excuse for our crummy weather? and don't say "coz it's Victoria" as we actually have less wet days than Sydney!

OK you guys in Victoria, who bought something and didn't tell us?
