ok the poll is up.

In a change in the poll, you now should not be able to "View Poll Results", and you should not be able to see the poll results even after you've voted.

The results will be shown once the poll is closed (4 days from opening time).

Let me know if you like it better/think it's fairer that way?? or whether you liked it how it was.

The moderators and I are dicussing the mechanism for having anonymous entries as well. It might be ready in time for the December challenge.

I think I like the change.

It never really occurred to me to peek before I voted... I just like making my own decisions... but while it was nice to watch the voting unfold, I think this is probably a better way to do it.

Some great shots there ppl!

Al.

Yup, this is a better way to my way of thinking, and for the entries to be anonymous will be even better, IMO.

No problems here Mike. Good luck everyone, a terrific batch of entries this month. Like H0ughy, I would have liked to vote for more than 3!

Cheers

Anonymous entries sounds a good idea.

But I did like to see the votes as they progress, but not before you voted didnt know you could do that.

hmm there must be some bug with the voting code. It won't show me the results now, even though the poll is closed.

I had to close the poll to see it. Anyway, congrats DJDD! A very exciting entry, well done!

What's the choice for the December subject?

Well done DJD2 – a very exciting entry indeed. I did think H0ughy might have won, for his very clever play with words, bridging last month and this month; a locomotive in locomotion!

Well done to everyone, I enjoyed looking at all the talent on display this month.

Cheers

Dennis

that was a surprise. thanks, everyone.
the more i looked at my photo the less I liked it as an entry.
i certainly thought there were more deserving entries (the three I voted for, at least)!

anyway, December's topic...did not have one in mind as i did not expect to win...let me think...i can hear the hold music in the background...or is that ringing in the ears?

ok...

December's subject is: . GIGANTIC .
