Looking great Phil. 640 x 450 doesn't do this image much justice. How about supplying a larger version?

What is the composition of the image? Did you also use the blue channel blended in for luminance data or solely Ha/Lum?

Cheers

Nice one Phil, love that object, it is just a shame that my shed is in the way of that one, might have to shorten the roof or some thing.

Lovely image Phil - like Jase, I would like to see a version at least 800px wide posted, would love to see more detail.

Also, what's with the odd-looking diffraction spikes? They're short, like crosshairs! Interesting effect.

the spikes are for the data taken last year in the RGB when i was imaging this time the clouds rolled in so i could not get any new RGB data. So i used last year data for the RGB which had spikes in it.

wonderful image Phil, the diffraction spikes are a bit of a distraction but I think the colour is very natural, nice work Mate.

Great stuff Phil. The larger image shows the wispy nebulosity detail very well. You could easily process out the spike if you choose to. Keep up the good work mate.

A really nice image Phil of an object which seems to be seldom posted.
Good amount of nebulosity and well framed.
