fare thee well, IceInSpace

yep...that's right...i'm leaving you guys!!!!

nah, not for toolong, i'm headed out to roma for work today, and won;t be back for about 3 weeks, and i highly doubt that i'll get an access to the internets... however i'm hoping for some fairly dark skies out there... so hopefully i'll get some observation in!

anyway, i've dropped a new thread into the terrestrial photography section, a parting gift, if you will...

later guys!

see you when you get back Josh. Have a great time under the dark skies. You really need to take a scope with you

Will you be back intime for the next Cambroon?

depends when teh next cambroon is, i expect to back around the 10th-11th or november, if not i'll definitely be back by the 15th, just in time to fly to sydney for a week...so if cambrron is happening around the 1st/2nd of december...then yes, probably, otherwise...i doubt it... (unless i am in fact back before the 10th, and it's on that weekend...

oh i so need to take a scope...or binoculars at least, unfortunately i have neither at this point in time, but i have two pretty decent organic lens', they transmit images straight into my brain... and some star maps, so i figure i'm as prepared as i'm gonna be! when i retuen though... prepare for me to buy some kit...oh yes i shall!

The next new moon and Cambroon night will likely be the 10th of November, and then we have a weekend out at Barambah Conservation Camp on the 8th and 9th of December.

hey guys!!!!! i'm back.....

not!

still out in roma, but we've had a few slow days becuase we're waiting on gear to arrive, did a whole 79 hours last week, and if we get gear today (which we hope to) we'll rack up another big week., hoping to break the 80 hour mark!!!

anyway, i'm sitting in a cafe here in roma, just popping by to say howdy, making sure this place isn't going downhill without me around to spice it up

i should have some fairly good photo's to display upon my real return (assuming i have time to process them before shooting off to sydney on holidays)

anyway, catchya'll on the flipside!
