Another horse

Here is the horsehead nebula I took this weekend. It was a test to see if I resolved a severe diffraction spike problem caused my something other than the spider (you can see in the picture I took in 2005). I did some research and it turned out to be TDE problem on my primary. After some work with electrical tape around the edge of the primary seemed to have fixed it... I think..
love to get rid of this clunky old skywatcher for a Intes MN or something..

Hey Dave that is a beauty, although the spike dose take away some of the visual effect you cant complain about that one, I am hoping to image the horsey as soon as it gets a bit higher and out of the East, for me that is looking directly over the city light pollution.

Hooly-Dooly, that's a huge spike!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The Horsey and surrounds came up magic though

Lovely colour and great detail!
