Huble Optic Mirrors?

Hi All,

I was looking around on the ebay and i came across these mirrors.
http://stores.ebay.com/hubbleoptics

Has anyone tried these or have any information on these. They have a lightweight version for larger mirrors and a standard version for smaller mirrors.

Are they worth it?

Regards
Fahim

I don't know fahim.. they seem to be odd focal lengths ..perhaps they are rejects from some of the asian optical companies .. by rejects I mean they won't fit the mass produced assemblies so are sold on cheap ??

I did notice over cloudy nights that brian greer (protostar ?)
stated that one of the listed test reports regarding one of these mirrors
was actually posted by him a couple of years back in a public forum.

Caveat emptor..!!!

Graham,

I was more intrigued by there lightweight sandwich design and weather it actually works or not. I have been over the CN forums and found a few interesting posts on them, however no information on the lightweight versions. Though based on completed listings it would seem they are selling. To date I have only seen the Conical design that allows reduction of the weight, I am just curious what the underlying design is here and how it works.

Regards
Fahim
