Moon, September 5th

Hi folks,

On September 5th it became clear.I was so happy, because the sky was for over two weeks cloudy.So I went outside about 02:30 in the morning.The temperature was about 0°C, brrr, cold.
With my 200/1200 Dobsonian I focused on the moon.I loved the view of decrescent moon.
Finally I took my webcam and photograph the sickle.
The result you can see below.

Facts:

- 200/1200 Dobsonian
- ToUcam ProII wit IR-Passfilter
- created a mosaic in Imerge
- processed in RegiStax
- Seeing: 6,5/10
- Time: 03:30 Uhr (German time)
- Date: 05.09.07

That is stunning, Andreas!!!! Look at the fine detail Mountains on the limb, Great contrast in the rays, etc etc etc!!!!
