Uranus - 10 Aug 2007

I also had a go at imaging Uranus last night with the Toucam. This is 100/2100 frames stacked in Registax with a 2x Mitchell resize.

I notice that CdC shows a shadow transit of the moon Umbriel at the time I was taking the images. Looking at my image, if I stand on my head, squint my eyes and make a noise like a squirrel I think I can just make out a slight dimming of the centre pixel on the disk of Uranus. What do you think??

I think you have an optimistic disposition and a good imagination
Good shot though.

Have you tried the Registax RGB adjustment on this? You have some blue on top and red on bottom from differential atmospheric refraction - probably exaggerated by the x2 resample.
