Do you know which one of the 6 variants of the Meade S4000 plossl it is?

Depending on which variation it is, they range from absolutely outstanding to downright horrid. If an early 4 element or 5 element made in Japan version, I may be interested for use in my spectrograph.

Hi ausoastronomer,

No I have no idea and that's why I am selling at such a good price.
I used it a couple of times and the quality was good.
But in comparison with my Naglers, it's hard to be 100% objective!
