- FOUND - Urgent - Wanted this afternoon if possible- Pentax lens with M42 thread

I'm after any shortish focal length lens with the old pentax thread, but anything will do. I know it's late (damn weather isn't getting any better) but I will drive anywhere up to an hour to pick it up.

That means from Nambour to the Northern suburbs of Brisvegas and north to past Gympie and out west to Kenilworth.

I'm more looking for a borrow for a few days but I'm happy to buy it if the price isn't too exorbitant.

Paul,

I can help, but is it too late now? I can lend you a 100mm f4, a 55mm f2, a 50mm f1.4, a 35mm f3.5, or a 28mm f2.8. The first 4 are original Takumar lenses, and the 28mm is a Chinonflex, but still an M42 thread. I wouldn't say they are in pristine order, but I have taken quite a number of shots with them with quite acceptable results. Borrow one, two, or all of them, as you wish. If you need, I also have an Pentax lens-EOS body adapter. If you want, I can post/you can collect/courier, whatever you want, and you can return it/them at Astrofest. I have no immediate need of them. I have PM'd you with a telephone number if you want to contact me.

Wow, thanks for you kind offer Mike. I really needed them for Saturday last Saturday afternoon for a CCD camera test, but I may still be able to use one for a widefield test if the weather ever clears between now and next week.

I'll check you pm for details and get in touch with you.

Thanks
