The 94EDPH features a triplet air-spaced design for chromatic aberration control, which is further enhanced thanks to the use of two extra-low dispersion glass elements. Featuring an f/5.5 focal ratio this scope has a focal length of 517 mm, allowing it to provide a 4-deg. x 2.6-deg field of view when paired with a full-frame camera. Coupled with the large 94mm front objective, this telescope is a great option for both visual and imaging use alike! To accommodate both types of hobbyists out-of-the-box, this scope includes both visual adapters - a 2" and 2"-to-1.25" - as well as a threaded connection for the included 0.8x focal reducer. Enhancing your Sharpstar 94EDPH experience is the inclusion of this 0.8x reducer. Four air-spaced lens elements brings the native Sharpstar 94EDPH focal length of 517mm down to 414mm while also hastening the focal ratio from to f/4.4! The M74x1 thread attaches seamlessly to your telescope, while the M48x0.75 camera thread offers connection to your imaging equipment. This focal reducer supports full frame imaging with its 50mm image circle, and is compatible with standard 2” filters.
