Jupiter and Moons DSLR

The seeing was pretty good last night through my 10" Newt so I decided to do some imaging. This is a basic processing of 70 frames in Registax4 .... I took 166 so will probably do a better version when I get the time.

details : Skywatcher 254mm F4.7 Newtonian - Canon 350D - SW 2x Barlow plus Meade Variable adapter with Vixen LV 20mm eyepiece projection - all frames were 1/15th sec @ iso 800

Not bad! I don't know if registax takes RAW files? If so, I recently tested and I noticed on ISO800, there's absolutly no noise with RAW.

Wow, you get that from 70 frames! Gez. I'd be lucky to get that from 300 with my quickcam!

Thanks Roger ....
I reprocessed the session and got it down to 42 frames and have posted the result. Got a lot smoother result and better image scale but cropped the moons out.
