WANTED: Prolific or FDTI USB to Serial Adapter.
Hi all,
I am trying to get a Prolific or FTDI USB to Serial adapter. I have two USB/Serial adapters here but they are both MTS Chipset adapters and will not work correctly with my EQMODed EQ6. Note they must be Prolific or FTDI!
The Brands which are known to work are Airlink 101 (model AC-USBS (Prolific)), Dolphin (Model XH6451 (FDTI)), Dynex (DX-UBDB9 (Prolific)), Prolific (PL2303 (Prolific)).
So basically any USB to Serial adapter that uses the Prolific or FDTI chipset. Sometimes this is identifiable by going into control panel>System>Hardware>Device Manager>Ports (COM & LPT)
Even if you know where to obtain the brand, this would be appreciated.
