Santa is getting nearer

It is true that he can travel faster than light, he was last spotted in the Orion constellation passing by the Horsehead Nebula, I was lucky enough to capture the moment.
Also I have added a capture of the running chicken belly taken over 8 hours of 600 second subs with the 294mc the optolong l-extreme and the TSApo with the riccardi 0.7 reducer

Thats awesome mate!! the chicken particularly looks incredible! I've never been a fan of the horsehead in NB/False colour.. Never seen it in a hat though - that's a new one!

Great job!

Lovely work Nik,
Nice to see a bit of Christmas cheer in an image
Would have been a late one for the Chook , it doesn’t get above 30 degrees until after 1am
Glad your getting some imaging time down south , I haven’t had a clear decent nights imaging since the 29th October. Mostly hot Sunny days and endless cloudy nights , and now the rain has come just in time for Christmas, Yay
Stop winging Martin !!!!

All the best !

Not sure why the multiquote thingy isn't working, thanks for all the comments

Yep not a fan of narrowband Horsey either, this one is just the L-Pro and lots of time,

I'm very happy with the chicken as well
Martin this one was earlier this year just never got round to processing it as I misplaced the files when I upgraded my laptop, finally found them
