International Observe Moon Day

Yesterday, October 21 2023 was International Observe the Moon day. Thank you to Bintel for advising.

Nice to see a 40% illuminated moon; rather rough photo attached; 1106 pm AEDT from Blue Mountains NSW.

Canon 550D Bronica 500mm f/8 with EF adapter. Handheld 1/600s 800 iso speed.

Well blow me down, I was out there imaging our Moon on that very evening completely oblivious to this international event - thanks!
