Jupiter, 8th August

A fairly quiet set of Jupiter images from Wedensday morning last week, with Oval BA setting at lower right. Quite reasonable seeing, but I am lamenting that Jupiter is only getting to 40deg high now.

Great work! Some beautiful detail in both rgb and ir. I had my first look at Jupiter last week but it was only at 20deg so nothing special. It certainly will be more of a challenge than the last few years.

Nice work Andy, is good to have Jupiter back in our skies again, although not at the most convenient hours yet.
Guess we had it good for the past 6 or so oppositions, with it being high for us, the northern hemis' turn for the next few.
