Moon Apennine Mountains 25th May

Hi All,

A stitch up of 5 videos, each taken with the neximage at 25fps and stacked in registax. Used the demo version of autostitch to put it together.

Regards

Nice work Fahim. I wouldn't go above 10fps with the ToUcam or NexImage, there's just too much compression.

Mike I started out with 5mins but I saw a lot of turbulance accross the image, the focus was moving in and out so i decided on 25. I have one section at 5ps might process it to compare.

Edit: I have attached a 5ps and 25ps section to compare. A 32s at 5fps vs 1min at 25ps and the 5ps looks sharper to me using the same wavelets.

Regards.

I didn't capture the full mountain range - just a portion of it. My images were taken @F25 as well. Here is a mosiac of 3 images I took last night.

Andrew, yours has more of a 3d effect possibly because your using a Barlow and getting close and personal. Also given your frame rater your image is sharper on details.

Nice images Fahim and Andrew. Great detail in all of them.

Fahim, I agree. the 5fps appears a little sharper.
