First Prawn...

These clear nights have been great! Spent the last couple of nights on two targets. First time getting the Prawn Nebula (IC 4628) early then switching to the Helix Nebula (NGC 7293) in the very early morning. While the Helix needs more data, I think the Prawn has come out quite well so far.

This is again a Ha-sG-O3 image where the green channel is synthesised from the Ha & O3. Final image is from 200 minutes of Ha & 210 minutes of O3 for just under 7 hours of total integration.

Gear:
Saxon 102mm triplet @ F5.6 (SvBony 0.8x flattener/reducer)

ASI294MM Pro @ -10°C
Antlia 3nm OIII & Ha filters
SW EQ6-R Pro
Guide scope: 90mm F5.5 StarSky w/ASI120mm-S

Software:
Astro Photography Tool (APT) v4.25, PHD2, EQMOD
Stacked with ASTAP
Processed with PhotoShop & StarNet++

Beautiful result.
I imaged Lobster last night and really need more data but I might process what I have as I think last night may be it for a while.
Well done.

What Carl and Alex have said - great colours, excellent depth, fine detail and pinpoint stars.

Thanks all. I'm finding that synthesising the green channel seems to help tame the stars. Something I will keep playing with.

Cheers,
Mark
