Anyone on SGP v4 or using NINA instead?

I am running SGP v3 and have not purchased the additonal support or upgrade as I have everything working well.

I had a look into NINA and tried it out. Looks great and some of the functionality in it I think is far superior to SGP however I am still not a fan of the user interface. I have everything running in SGP perfectly so I am relucatant in changing over at the moment.

Does anyone here have SGP v4 and is it worh the upgrade or am I better off migrating to NINA when I am ready?

NINA diehard here. All the others... well I'm sure they're great, but for me, it was a modern interface that made me choose NINA when I first started out.
All the other ones look like something from Matthew Broderick's WarGames.

Hi. I have used SGP for years and I upgraded to version 4 to see what the fuss was about. It is supposed to have a better autofocus routine in it although the interface is just so.........well, I'm not sure what it is. If they added a slick interface like NINA displays, it would go a long way.

If you have SGP working well, plate solve, auto focus, guiding etc, then you are unlikely to gain anything by going to NINA.

I have it on my desktop to try it out over a full moon period, although I doubt I'll change from all my paid software to freeware, it's a waste of my money otherwise.

YMMV.
