Comet Encke

Magnitude 8 Comet Encke is currently visible in Cetus.
This SkyMapPro map is for 4am for the next 2 weeks with the zenith up.
The comet is 18 degrees from Mars tomorrow morning.

Saw Encke this morning with 20x80 binoculars. It was fainter than I expected (mag 9?) but not difficult to see. The comet was 1.3 degrees up from and to the right of eta Cet at 4am.

I had planned to get up and out, I got the get up alright. But crashed at the PC Doh'
