14th Jan Sunspots everywhere..

14th Jan. There are lots of sunspots visible today - double the number of groups from 2 days ago. A large spot AR3190 has appeared on the E limb and AR3186 is prominent. I have posted two images - the first is from 12th Jan and the second from today (14th) so you can see the changes easily.
Both are single exposures with a Canon 550d camera on a WO 81 mm refractor with Herschel wedge at 540 nm. Temp is 38°C today !
Thanks for viewing.

John,
Fantastic capture. Well done.
I hope everyone will get the opportunity to see and record the current solar activity.

Very hot work today John but great to see your images.
As you say, there is action all over the place today. Ten active regions and the huge new sun spot in AR3190. Plus lots of surges all over the place
