12th Sept Sunspots

12th Sept. Very cloudy and cold today but I noticed a small patch of blue sky in the SW and set up my scope for a quick snap. A number of small sunspot groups were visible. The most prominent was AR 3098. Single exposure with Canon 550d camera attached to a 81 mm WO refractor and herschel wedge set for 540 nm wavelength. Thanks for viewing.

Good work John. Interesting to see just how many active regions have suddenly appeared. We also set up today but failed to get an image. We could just briefly see through the cloud but just not enough time to actually get an image.
