Good shot huh, I saw it some time ago on the Hubble site, where you can zoom in and out, there is some incredible detail contained within the image.

there are already many pictures combined from Hubble-Spitzer-Chandra,
do know anyone whether there is also such a view on eta carina nebula?

Ron, as I understand it - combine a visible light image from Hubble with a representation of an infrared image from Spitzer and a representation of an X-ray image from Chandra to get the best of three worlds in one photo.
Eg. a Hubble/Spitzer view of Orion Nebula is here:-

todays APOD shows a pillar of gas and dust within the Carina neb,
inside the head is a star that is slowly destroying it…

but I can’t find that pillar in the big picture shown by erick on the top of this thread..

Ripper image, it's now on my desktop at work. The only problem is I'm not getting much work done because I find myself just sitting there and staring into it, it's one of those images.
