More Chicken

IC 2944 Lambda Centauri or Running Chicken Nebula wide-ish shot with the wonderful Sky-watcher ED72 and Orion field flattener. ZWO ASI 294mc Pro camera, ASIAIR Optolong L-Extreme. Processing using a synthetic Sulphur channel Ha and O3 extracted using Astro Pixel Processor. 3 hours acquisition of 10 minute subs. Melbourne Bortle 7 sky
Second image is same object but
TS-Optics 130 APO reduced 0.75
7 hours of 10 min subs

Where did all the O3 blue go as per here:

It was a different focal length and I couldnt get the blues out at all for some reason, still learning remember it's the L-Extreme and an OSC

OK sorry -
so the L-Extreme filter is allowing the Blue light to enter
https://www.siderealtrading.com.au/p...l-band-filter/
but the One Shot Color has a Bayer Matrix which
is only picking it up on 1 pixel out of 4.

Looking great! Super tight and I actually don't mind the colour pallet... I'm interested how did you created the synth green channel in APP tho?

Hi Dave, in APP when you stack you have the option of selecting mono HO111 under the bayer matrix and use the final result as the synthetic sulphur/green channel, then you obviously play around in combination setting and adjust to suit

I changed up the processing using just HOO and a smidge of synthetic sulphur and this is the final result.
