Upgrading the 22"

Hi all

Well, some may know that I have been waiting a while for the ServoCAT and Argo Navis bits to arrive to allow full goto and tracking for the 22" Dob.

Bits duly arrived on Friday so here's a quick look at things so far:

Should be quite fun watching ot throw itself around the sky... Although I have to say that 's not the main reason for installing this sytem - which was to get tracking plain and simple. With a 2.7 metre focal length it is a bit awkward keeping target in the FOV whilst hanging off a ladder 5 feet up in the dark
