Hello There Please Remember The Parkes CWAS ASTROFEST this Weekend.Canon Aust. has donated $6,400.00 Worth of prizes for the Imaging section.Plus there is a Bust of Galileo for the No.1 prize winner as well.There will be a Raffle Going for the prize is a 120mm refractor on EQ5 Mount.It,s value is aroud $1,100.00.The Prize is Kindly Donated by Steve Massey of My Astroshop.Steve Quirk and Steve Massey Have Published another Brilliant Book on Astronomy Plenty of user friendly Star Charts -Images Deep sky Etc.It is in Hard cover and wil sell for around $45.00.Hopefully they will Have some copies there to Sell.The Astrofest has a good line up of Guest Speakers this Year.Reguard's tONY.

I'll definitely be there on Saturday afternoon but not sure if I'll be able to make any of the other talks. I'll be there with my family.

Looking forward to doing some dusk/dawn photography of "The Dish"

Good news on Sunday Rob Mcnaught Discoverer of the Famous Comet Mcnaught Will be a guest speaker at the Parkes telescope on Sunday 15/7/2007.Rob has changed his plans so he can be there.This will be one of the highlights of the CWAS astrofest.If your a Steve Massey fan Steve will be there to draw the raffle. The raffle draw CWAS Astrofest Sunday Between 12.00am and 13.30pm. At the Parkes telescope .
