The Lagoon from last Saturday night

A clear night and the moon didnt rise till after midnight so my son and I managed to get some imaging done

here's a familiar object, the Lagoon nebula

17 minutes in total @ISO 800 and 17 minutes @ISO 200

(2 and 3 minute subs at ISO 800 and 5 minute subs @ISO 200)
Canon 300d(stock)
C8 NGT
autoguided
aligned and stacked in IRIS
processed in photoshop
Neatimage for noise removal
resized for posting

Howdy
Nice and red too. Did you use techniques in Photoshop to make it red, I find I need to otherwise the 300d renders emission nebulae as a bluish-purple.

That's really nice Narayan, one of your best nebula shots I think! The dark lane isn't as prominent as I would've expected, but that's probably due to my expectations, not your imaging
