possibly my last lpi images

been ages since i have used my telescope for anything but i got out on wednesday night for some double and got the lpi out for what could be the last time

the smaller image comprises of about 170 frames ( dont take note of settings) and was stretched in PSP to about 170%. the larger image was well under exposed and only about 40 frames (cheryl was making noises for me to come in at this stage (something along the lines of "you have work tomorrow)) and so the avi i had to work from was exceptionally poor. the colours are all wrong too but the scale is what i was looking at here and thats the native scale. so when i recieve my toucam next week (thanks Mick) i should be in for a ball

the seeing was but average.

Onya Vingy!!!!

Don't you love the way R4 puts that huge seam down the planet when you use MAP?

Farewell LPI.... hello ToUcam.

You will notice the difference, David. Oh Yes!!!!!

Nice one Dave, the first one is great. The ToUcam will give you a larger image due to the smaller pixels. It's also more sensitive, less noisy and will capture more frames.

You won't know yourself!

Ving,

While there's obviously a great void between images like yours and mine vs Mike's, Zac's, etc... Your left image here is better than any planetary image I've got through my 12" I think Good stuff
