Orion shorttube 80mm

Hi all I have a Orion shorttube 80mm is it any good for taking imagers of the planets.I was using it as a guide scope as it is still on the scope I though I mite use it for something

Hi, you won't get enough magnification for the planets, even with a barlow. For example see attached for your scope with your atik420 on jupiter.

Thanks for that I am going to replace it with my pst instead , I also have a 8" solar filter for my lxd75 telescope
