Celestron Evolution Mount that came with my Celestron EVO 8 telescope set up. The SCT has been sold and the mount is all that's remaining. These are not sold separately and only sold as a package as far as I'm aware.
These are by far, the most reliable, easiest and most convenient ALT AZ mount I have ever used (I have used a fair amount in my days).
Set up is as easy as point at ANY 3 bright objects in the sky (planets, moons, stars) and it's done. After that, the goto is super accurate and always places them in the centre of the field. If it's a bit out, the firmware allows for 10 additional sync points which increases accuracy the more times you slew to an object.
The BEST part of this mount is the built in wifi function. You can use your phone or tablet with the FREE celestron skyportal app to control the mount. Click on any object in the night sky that you want to view and it'll slew right to it and give you a bit of info as well.
It can take up to 10kg no problem. I've used it with the 8" SCT that came with it as well as a heavier 9.25" SCT without missing a beat.
It has a built in LI-ION battery that is charged through a standard 2.3mm 12V charger (not included but 10 bucks from jaycar). The battery lasts me 3 nights straight.
Pick up only from Gold Coast or I can deliver within an hours drive.
It'll only be sale for 1 week as I am only on the coast for that long
If you buy this along with the 8SE that I have for sale (easy as deforking, and screwing on some dove tails), I'll let both go for $1400. This is cheaper than any 8SE I've seen for sale let alone an Evolution mount with an 8" SCT (which is double the price of Nexstar SE Mount) (Scope has been sold)

Last chance to buy the mount before I head back out to Charleville. I can deliver it within a 100km radius of Gold Coast (minus NSW) if you cover the cost of petrol! Once I'm back in Charleville, it will be off the market until I am back down on the coast in 3 months.
