You may have a poor mount so check what 30 seconds can do when stacked

.
Busy having been away, tired from the drive not set up but the sky became clear; the Moon was an hour away

.
Rush to set up gear (eq6, 150sn capture scope, and 80mm guide scope a very dirty 300d)

.
Polar was still not perfect as the Moon as coming thru the trees so I fired off 30 exposures of 30 secs, on large format (not raw) iso 1600 and a few at 800 iso 7 dark frames at 30 sec also different black and white balance settings threw it all in Deep Sky stacker told it to only use the best and let simmer for about 30 minutes.
Took the result and played with it is Micro soft Picture it (very basic photo program). The inserts are result of a fair bit of time playing around masking
and stacking manually.
Gear was/ still is all filthy so I was happy to get anything

.
Holding maintenance and cleaning until the shed is finished

.
I am still sorting things out but I thought how good is this software to be able to use 30 second exposures to get a result.
But that is 15 minute exposure all up I guess wow when you look at it that way.. mmm 30 x 45 minutes for a new wide field..
Imagine the 12 inch with just 30 sec exposures ..that not long to have to hope its on course
