$499 - QHY9 CCD (plus postage)

This sensor and camera probably need no introduction and for many years it was the best camera I had. To be honest, it probably still is but the low noise profile and fast read out speeds from recent cooled CMOS cameras have seen me using them more instead of the trusty QHY9 CCD.

You'll need to use dark frame calibration of course to get the most out of this camera but for anyone who wants a good old proper CCD camera this used one has some serious bang for buck at this list price.

There is some horizontal banding from bright stars which I never figured out but apparently has to do with an anti-blooming driver setting. I couldn't rightly say though as I always processed them out when I had to.

Power supply has American connector which I always used an adapter for.

One nice feature is the mechanical shutter which lets you do darks without closing the scope / observatory or taking the camera off the equipment. You can even do them during the day. I miss that on the new cheap cams.

Added example images of the dark master stack so see the inherent noise profile.

Selling because I need a new mount and the organ donation black market is "illegal" and "unethical".
