Jupiter March 3 2007

I took an enormous number of images on sunday morning in visible, near infrared and methane band light. Here is one of the visible light images showing the GRS.

Jupiter

4.28 AEST
31 cm Newtonian at f/28. Phillips ToUcam Pro.
I'll post the rest later.

Magnificent image, can't wait to see the rest.

Wow - that is fantastic Zac. Looks like the proverbial space mission photo from a Jupiter orbiter. Just stunning image scale and detail - easily the best I've seen this season.

Cheers

Thanks everyone. David is almost spot on! I do have filters but my filter wheel hasn't arrived yet. Seeing was probably 8.5/10 and resample was 200%.
