It's baaaack - Comet McNaught

Well technically it's not really back because it never went away.

Thought I'd try to bag it again tonight. Mounted the camera on the StarTracker and started snapping away. Unfortunately I only managed to get 9 x 64 sec images before thin cloud rolled in and parked itself just where the comet was.

Anyway, here is the stack of those 9 images. The comet is the faint fuzzy greenish blob just up and to the left of centre.

sorta sad that it is so small now..., but that is the way of comets i spose.

It's got things to do, places to go, other "people" to see - nice that it visited with us for a while.
