Found a decent case after MONTHS for my scope

You know that the 120 ED Triplets come with a really large metal case, useless for occasional transport.

Finally I located a zippable padded bag

Padding looks minimal and unlikely to offer much protection.

Jeremy Hi..Looks great, but If I get one I'll add some extra foam underneath the OTA as an assurance for extra peace of mind at least if dropped/ bumped as Alex and others have stated or alluded to.

I have a heavy aluminium case also for my 130mm triplet so know how you feel.

I have a heavy alloy case for my scope, which is why I chose this for convenience, it will not get dropped if it did it's insured

You would have to see it to see just how good the foam is
