New auto focuser

My auto focuser finally arrived yesterday. Set it up last night and spent the night plus most of today trying to get it to work.

I think I’ve finally got it sorted out so hopefully it won’t be too long before I get some clear sky.

I have exactly the same from Optec (Focus Linx). I think they make them for Feather Touch. Mine is on a feather touch focuser as well. They are a bugger to get them running smoothly as they tend to grab and grind until you find the sweet spot. After that they are fantastic. Mine is now running very well with the auto-focus routine in Sequence Generator Pro. Hope you get a clear night soon.
cheers,
Bruce.

Thanks Bruce yep that’s the same one from Optec.

I ordered mine through Bintel and they were kind enough to setup and tune the movement for me in store so it’s running smoothly now.
