Well I have gone over to the dark side
I have just put a deposit down on the new Meade 16' lightbridge from Bintel in Sydney. Now waiting for the rain
. I will have to do all the little things to it I suspect when I get it, including a shroud.

Good onya houghy, there is nothing like a nice simple Dob for good old fashioned easy plain observational astronomy and searching and fun at starparties- they do free up some of your time dont they

This means you have to buy those horrible things called eye pieces.
Never been able to work out what there for.
A 3 month ban on the astrophotography and imaging area is sufficent Mike.
hahahaha Harb...nicely done.

The man's got a plan.....
He can observe thru the LB while he's imaging thru his imaging setup.
