Comet McNaught (2006/P1) - 20th January 2007

Hi All,

Well after seeing Gary's awesome photos I was inspired to get some more of the Comet's tail. Please not mine are nowhere as good not even a fraction. Here I don't stand on the shoulder of giants but am inspired by a giant. Gary hats of to you and thanks.

In the process of trying to capture this comet i am learning a great deal about the effect of various camera parameters. I can safely say that I will not be using the Auto mode anymore for astrophotos, as I can now emulate the same if not better with manual mode.

I was out there for the Comet, but caught a glimpse of the Crescent Moon and could not resist. Hows that for luck.

Regards
Fahim
