Bintel's gone maaaaad!!!!!

OK...

Check out the prices on Televue eyepieces at Bintel.

Might be a good time to make a purchase, methinks

Haven't had a chance to check out whether they've discounted prices across the board? Doesn't look like it.

Wouldn't mind a new pair of Pentax nockies

Hi Matt, very tempting, I'll have to wait another fortnight until my leave bonus comes through but it gives me a bit of time to have a think.

Thanks for the heads up

I would say they are just starting to become reasonable. Obviously they realise right after Christmas people will need a little encouragement to spend even more money (or go even more deeply into debt).

Whatever you want call it, Steve, or whatever motivates it, it's nice to see a bit of a price dip on these items regardless

And it's up to individuals to manage their finances, not Bintel or any other retailer for that matter. After all, they're just looking to do business

Seems these places are accounting for our seasonal fiscal mis-managment and being kind is another perverse kind of way to look at it.... we help each other survive.. as long as they remember our names and are loyal to our custom with them... LOL

Man!.... most businesses anywhere look to make a few $$$ at xmas and a few other times of the year.

That's what being in business is about. Being in business.

It's bizarre (I would have thought) to expect them to behave any differently.

I never said or even implied they were being "kind"

Matt, you might have read me wrong. I'm certainly not holding anything against Bintel or anyone else who wants to offer a discount on some of their stock.

I would not mind a Paracorr and a 13mm T6, but I cannot afford either right now.

"read" as in red...

anyway...

yep, the TV gear is unreasonably priced here in OZ (due to there being just the one vendor).

The price drop is what motivated my original post.

I just wanted to share what some might consider a little good news.

Not everyone will greet the message with cheer but some might, Steve.

It was really a heads-up for them

Just spreading some cheer, mate
