Yes, Warnie will be sadly missed.

To think that the delivery he took Strauss with was only used for the first time in Perth, now he'll be using it for the last time in Sydney. Like him or hate him, he is a genius as far as cricket goes.

It will be a solemn day in Australian cricket when the last ball is bowled in Sydney.

Although I'm a Pom, I like Warne, even though he's been our scourge for a long time now. It helps that he plays for my county, Hampshire, and will continue to do so for the next couple of years. I'm pretty pleased he got his 700th wicket although I have a feeling that it was never in doubt!
Wanker or not, Andrew, he's still a ledge.

I think he will finish up with 712 wickets after Sydney.

Cheers

Shane Warne has single handedly turned me off cricket. I was the biggest cricket fan back in the Lillee, Marsh, Chappell days. But I am unable to support such an arrogant little twit. And he's only got worse through the years. I am glad he's almost retired. I not sure I can go back to cricket again, it's been a long time.

That'd be like giving up on the entire joy of astronomy because of a week of cloud

I love him.

I agree he's no angel but you have to laugh at him with all that PM episode with the entire women population of England.

The game needs characters like Warnie just like tennis needs Leighton Hewitt. "COME ON"

I have always thought of him as the "Mohammed Ali" of cricket. Love him or hate him you can't deny his skill and talent.

Cheers
