OK, this is a package deal! this is pick up or you arrange a freight company to pack and send.

1 meade 12" lx200 with slight dent in tube where I stuffed up removing it from fork mount and it slipped (note not dropped), hasn't affected the optics more cosmetic than anything. the optics are excellent. Includes the fork mount, meade field bag and tripod, electric focuser(meade) heavy duty equatorial wedgeNOW SOLD THE WEDGE, solar filter full glass thousand oaks, GPS mate, 2" meade diagonal, 2 dew shields (the original meade metal one and a kendrick flexi shield), free thermometer(that's on the tripod

) piggy back bracket for camera, dust cover, 50mm finder, meade 12/18 volt power supply and the 240 volt power supply and the damn long leads. And I have a joystick control on the controller

OK the scope when I received it was worth $9997.00 with the dew shield and the focusser and a few other incidentals, I have the original receipts. i also have a complete set of odd and even of the latest version for the goto for the motherboard, a new motherboard and motors, worth a pretty penny (over 500). the GPS mate cost me several hundred and is very current, as too the solar filter. Oh and I have a dew strap for it too, a 12 volt one. Also a bar and tube rings for the top for a guidescope!

the flexi shield I picked up second hand this year.

i have added an after market mirror lock, have bobs knobs for the scope but not fitted.

I am asking ($5000 was price with wedge) $4600.00 for the lot. no movement in price as I have discounted the scope to a third the price originally paid, and the extras are included and they have been heavily discounted too. i probably have more stuff to go with it, when I sort it out i will include it in the package - no more cost. Shipping is paid in full by purchaser.

I will not be available from 18th DEC to the following saturday, so if you post a PM to me I will consider them in the order they are sent. You can tyre kick, but that will cost you a bottle or two of wine for the setup.

omg..............Don't do it...........your wife will never let you get that observatory if you get some little teeny weeny scope.......you need to keep it to convince her that you want to perm mount the 12" to save your back for more romantic endevours

It will be very hard to convince her with the smaller scope....... you may well remain undomed.

also there is some interest in this package, I do have some people considering the package, they will of course be offered in order and accepted that way.

The silly thing is that now I'll use the 12" more in the field for photography, hopefully....... right after I get an 8" so that I didn't have to lug around the 12.

Go figure.....

Now I've got a wedgie!!
