Exclamation Post your Jupiter, Mercury, Mars conjunction for 12-12-06 here

As the title says "Post 'em here"

Canon 300D unmodded
80-200 lens @ 80mm f/4.5, 1/6 sec exp. Crop of full size image. Captured RAW, converted to tif, levels and curves in PS.

You can just make out Mars to the top right of Jupiter, with Mercury to the bottom right.

Image taken from Dulong Lookout behind Nambour on the Sunshine Coast.

Well done Paul! There's some great images on spaceweather. Unfortunately it was cloudy this morning, and the previous 2 mornings the transparency was crap and I just couldn't find them!

Thanks guys. It wasn't the best here either Mike. Quite a bit of haze, it took me a while to find them. Shame I couldn't get the same view as I did with my binos.

Nice shot Paul, it was certainly difficult to capture in the brightening morning sky. I would agree the view through a 16x pair of Bino's was much better !
I will have another go at posting my grainy shot here.
