EBIKES Again ..

Just completed my first conversion, my own bike. Worked first time even !! Feels good to pedal up hills at 25 kmh but the headwind is a nuisance.
Few pix, battery is off being charged but mounts on the flat plate attached to the lower frame member.

Does it have regenerative braking, or put power back in the battery when going downhill ?

Quite pleased with it myself, looks good and works well. I rode up Mt Albert yesterday, our 'backyard' volcano. Local reserve, about 185 meters high. Just pedalled my way to the top no problem at all. The last 50 meters to the top is a steep serious walk let alone a bike ride.

Just added the lights and swapped the spare seat from my Cannondale. The one it came with was like a rock. And added my dash cam to the handlebars to do some video. Of the 53 volcanoes that make up the Auckland area there are 7 that are iconic tourist spots. Plan is to summit them all and get pix and some video and do a blog on it. Wife's idea, not mine to garner interest from would be buyers, local eco industries and councils.
Got to wave the flag some how I'll post a few pix as I do. Just waiting for the 50 kmh wind to die down a bit and I might do a ride out.

Couple more pix completed with battery loaded. It's got a USB output under the computer on the handlebars to charge phones etc but I've got the dashcam plugged into it.

Fantastic.
I have not been working on my walking frame but its ok I have plenty of excuses.
The idea of videos to promote the bike and the area is also excellent.
And it really looks so good.
You have every right to feel pleased with yourself.
When will you install the cup holder?

Thanks Alex, feels good to be making some progress with it all. And I haven't run out of money ... yet !
I think I'm the cup holder ... a retro fit.
