I am one of many people in Tasmania who are appalled and frustrated by the level of corruption and blatant disregard for the environment in this state. One man has decided to fight back and has created a website exposing the scams, corruption and cover ups that are going on. As sensationalistic as it seems, it's unfortunately accurate. The creator of the site has been the subject of unsuccessful legal action by the state government.
If you have some spare time take a wander through the site, it's quite disjointed but it will give you some idea of where precious public resources and taxpayer dollars are going at the same time as our environment is being devistated. You may not need to look very far in your state to see similar practices.
