Windows 10 backup

Hi
I have Windows 10 backup to an external usb drive. I can see how to retrieve data on a day by day basis. However, it is possible to list, for instance, all the emails or documents etc backed up in separate lists so that I can scroll down each list and select the required document to restore?

Pete,
There are 2 backups in win 10 I know about

You got that file history thing which I assume is just the normal shadow copies stuff.

And the old win7 backup which includes a system image.

You can't browse any windows backups as such but you can open the backup virtual disk in the disk manager and browse those files. Google it.

I will explore the net regarding the virtual backup disk.
I use a free program called Macrium Reflect to backup complete drive
images once per month after cleaning up the drive. I works well with all versions of Windows and the Win 10 backup disk is excellent for getting
out of occasional PC hangups where a full image restoration is not warranted.
