Need help widh 4120x osc

Hello everyone

Two weeks ago I purchased an Atik 4120x OSC.
I use the camera with the Takahashi Epsilon E130D F3.3 .
My problem:
I have taken 35x600sec lights which is more than 5 hours exposure of IC
1805 the Heart Nebula.
What a disappointment there is almost nothing to see.
I stackt the lights in pixinsicht and DSS with the right bayer matrix.
What have I done wrong.

Check from the beginning.

Start with the individual uncalibrated subs, do they look okay?
Then move to the calibrated subs, do they look okay?
Then registered, do they look okay?

Having bad Bias or Dark frames could clip the entire lower part of the histogram.

You may have to view each sub and see what data you have. With 10 minute subs at f3.3 there should be a lot of nebulosity showing.

Could be the first 5 subs are OK and 30 were bad from dew on the secondary. So when you stack, the 30 bad subs will override the 5 good ones.

Or your Goto was off and you are not imaging at the correct coordinates.

Hello guys thank you for your reply.
I have no darks, flats or bias taken it was a test to see how the camera worked.
I had no problems with dew .
I thought my Epsilon F3.3 and the photosensitive 4120x color it would be a good combination but I am very disappointed .
I have already emailed to Atik but still ge got no answer.

so make a note! It's worth noting that colour cameras work best with an IR blocking filter. This will give images with stronger colour and more saturation.

Hi Paul. I downloaded the tif file and had a very quick play with it. Gave it a fair old stretch. Attached is the result.
I think the issue is more the lack of darks I think.
What processing did you do after stacking BTW?
Remember that stacking lights only will not make the nebulosity brighter What you attempting to do is to extract the signal from the noise and that is where darks really help. Also the corners are showing the bright corners that are much brighter after stretching. Not sure what is causing that buT a set of flats may help. I would definitely get some darks and see how much difference that makes.
There is definitely nebulosity there. IC1805 is a quite faint object so this is not surprising that it would not jump out even after stacking.

Do you have control over any camera setting like gain, and offset?

The corners do show signs of vignetting.

I think you definitely have the right part of the sky. The open cluster at bottom left is definitely Melotte 15 which is right in the middle of the nebulosity of 1805
