I borrowed Malcolm (Barx1963)'s Lunt 60mm double stack for my sons' Scout Science day next week. Took it out for a first light yesterday and played around a bit with visual and imaging.
This is a quick 5 sec grab of sun and a prominence, a filament and a spot can also be seen in the picture. Time didn't permit any further experimentation of the scope and the capture program (Sharp Cap with QHYII5-L colour).

A very good start.
The tuning of the etalon(s) is a bit off band - needs a little adjustment to maximise the surface detail and improve contrast on the filaments.
The focus is a little off, the surface detail should show up clearer.
All in all a good first solar image.

Yes, agree the focus was a bit off and I am still learning how to tune the etalon thingy. I literally had 1 hour to set up and do a test run, so was lucky to get this far.
I just don't think I can convince the CFO for a solar scope purchase yet
